Factory of Sound wishes you, in the year 2021, a lot of health, happiness, and joy, and above all, the re-establishment of parties and as much socializing as possible with the best music.
We look into 2021 with a great deal of hope and positivity, in anticipation of the launch of parties. The year 2020 was full of surprises, it brought with it a lot of good and bad, but we hope it brought you, despite the situation, more good than bad. Parties were practically all canceled, well not all, only a handful were made, which we remember with much joy.
We can say that this period put us all to the test, as we could appreciate all those small things, which might have become self-evident. Awareness came, how parties are an important part of our lives, which connect us, bring us joy, make us happy, and are the place where we release our energy when dancing to the favorite music.
In the year 2020, we planned quite a few parties, new surprises, and guests, who will have to wait for their turn. In the previous year, we planned to organize the traditional editions of FoS parties, namely Maribor goes Hardcore and Maribor launderette that got the pre-party with grilled chevapcici. In August we planned the hardest open-air event Alles Kapot Alles Kapot with international performances. With that year we also wanted to start with the first edition of Hardstyle events titled We meet with style.
When looking back, it saddens us, as our last Hardcore event was on September 21st, 2019, and last Hardtechno event on April 20th, 2019, and we do not count days or months any more since our last event, but is more than a year now. Despite all, we manage to make some events.
On May 30th, 2020 we hosted a washing stream – Maribor launderette – Washing stream – We want you to listen!. Performed by Dragon Hoang, Domnq, Majkl M, and Marc D’Virus. You can watch and hear the entire stream on the link HERE.
This was our first attempt to make a virtual gathering. The second one happened on July 11th, 2020, when Matthew, Syndx aka Syndromic, MeKO, and again Domnq and Majkl M joined us. The entire stream is available on the link HERE.
In August we were guests at the Hungarian open-air event – CSCS Gathering, where our residents DJ Paymon and Spranex performed. As corona marked Slovenia, it also marked Hungary. As a large number of police force came to the party, who in the end shut it down for 24 hours. Spranex managed to carry out his performance, you can see a short video HERE. After the police session, we made our own party in the camp, where Paymon played – VIDEO1 – VIDEO2. Kljub vsemu smo se imeli super.
On September 4th, 2020, in Braslovče, we manage to organize a Journey through Hardcore, from Hardstyle to Hardcore. First party like that in the year 2020. Performed by Paymon, Spranex, Dark_PhoenX, Bane, and Skullbasher. Video impressions can be seen on the link HERE.
Only a week later, we manage to make a Hardcore live stream through Facebook. It all came spontaneously, as we were talking about going for a beer, and in the end, we landed on some hill, with aggregate and equipment and partied all night. First, we could listen to Hardtechno, driven by Yan Sofierce, followed by Hardcore night by Paymon – PAYMON LIVE.
In one time we gathered on a journey from Techno, through Hardtechno to Hardcore. We had a great time, the entire evening we enjoyed and socialized with the best music. You can see more in video impressions HERE.
Before the year finished, we prepared another washing stream, this time with a more international cast, performed by Behard, KrazyKaz, Audiodrama, Hell-X, TKG, Katarina O’Halloran, and Dragon Hoang. Of course, we could not do it without home shakers, performed by Tamchi, Agora, Sicknott, and Plaz. The last act was contributed by Paymon, a Hardcore session. The introductory track was by DJ Gumja, namely Japan, concluding with Bentech’s Requiem for a dream. You can see both streams on the links STREAM1 – STREAM2.
